OFFICE HOURS UPDATE: To reflect the current part time status, office hours are by appointment only Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. CLOSED MONDAYS, THURSDAYS, FRIDAYS AND SUNDAYS. Tuesdays noon-6pm, Wednesday noon-6pm, and Saturdays noon-5pm. Please note that email and text messages will not be monitored during days outside of office hours. If you are experiencing an emergency, please go to a nearest ER, urgent care facility, or call 911.

Update: Due to the current nationwide shortage of controlled substances, particularly stimulants, all patients are required to call their pharmacy to verify if the medication they are wanting refilled is in stock. The patient must request refills from the prescriber only for a pharmacy they have verbally verified has the medication in stock. As per the office policies, any re-sending/cancellation of already sent controlled substance prescriptions will incur a charge of $25 per occurrence. Refer to updated office policies found in your SimplePractice invitation from your most recent appointment.

***Please note that prior authorization requests for substitution coverage of two daily doses of a medication instead of one approved dose will not be submitted to insurance, as there is no clinical reason for the change, even though there is a shortage. For example, when the daily dose of a patient’s Vyvanse is 60 mg and a patient request is received to send in two 30 mg doses per day (as this is only what may be available at the pharmacy), the patient will be responsible for out of pocket payment if insurance does not cover that change automatically.

*If you do not have a link to the SimplePractice updated version of office policies, you have either elected to use a non-secure telehealth platform (please request a copy of our office policies via email from email@MorganPsychiatry.com) or are not a current patient (last seen over a year ago) and need to schedule an appointment to re-establish care.
